Profhilo
What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is a unique bioremodelling injectable treatment that works to remodel your skin with visible results after only 2 treatments. The procedure stimulates your own collagen production and elasticity which, over time, aims to give you a tighter and more youthful appearance. Your skin tone and texture will also be improved along with overall hydration of the skin.
Profhilo is 100% HA (hyaluronic acid) - a substance that occurs naturally in the body. When injected superficially under the skin it’s spreads within the skin to remodel the skin structure, nourish the dermal cells and treat skin laxity restoring the firmness of your skin.
Profhilo is commonly used to treat the face, neck and hands but any area of the body can be treated. It works well for those aged 30 years upwards.
What does it involve?
Profhilo is injected into 5 injection points on each side of the face. There is minimal discomfort as a local anaesthetic cream is applied beforehand.
The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes
There is minimal downtime after Profhilo and in most cases you can return straight back to work or resume everyday activities immediately after treatment.
You may experience some redness or swelling post- treatment which should resolve after 48 hours.
